Swim Drink Fish

SWIM DRINK FISH SERIES

Client: Swim Drink Fish

Brief: Make a younger audience care about Lake Ontario.

Ontario has more beaches than Florida, California and Hawaii. It’s home to more than 150 fish species, and one of the most important sources of drinking water in the world: Lake Ontario.

So why does Lake Ontario get such a bad rap?

This is a three-part series we produced for clean water organization Swim Drink Fish, supported by Ace Hill Beer as part of their 1% For the Planet commitment. Each episode pairs two strangers with a unique relationship with the lake: chef Grant van Gameren (Bar Isabel, Bar Raval) goes on a fishing trip with a fourth-generation fisherman, a marathon swimmer gets out on the water with Surf the Greats, and environmental lawyers educate a brewmaster on where the water that makes up his beer comes from.
